As well as the cover photo, your profile picture also needs to be high. If you are using your logo as your picture, you must make sure it’s not blurry. If you’re using a group photo or a portrait then make sure that it is professional, avoid using personal photos as you want to look professional.


Many social media platforms now have an ‘About You’ section on them, which you need to fill out completely. When doing this use relevant keywords and be confident. Make sure you link back to your website and other social media platforms.


Business that publishes an average of 1-2 posts a day engage with twice as many users as businesses that post once or twice a week, so it is important to post daily or even more than twice again.


There are a lot of influencers now on social media. Make a list of the influencers that are in your industry, so you can start sharing their posts and hopefully get on their radar! Join in with other businesses in your industry, it’s good to build business relationships and social media makes this so easy.
